Introduction ~ Teaching Experience ~ Areas of Interest
Teaching Statement ~ Learning Through Diversity ~ Professional Development
Being part of different learning and research communities is integral in being able to come together and discuss new ideas and solutions. Some of the communities and organizations I belong to are the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and and the International Society of Protistologists (ISOP). I enjoy being able to attend research conferences and symposiums, such as ones hosted by American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and New Lineages of Life (NeLLi). Along with national and international conferences and organizations, I enjoy attending talks and symposiums held here at Arizona State University, including the weekly School of Life Sciences (SOLS) seminars, “Brown Bag” and the Mechanisms of Cellular Evolution (CME) symposium. I look forward to being able to join more organizations of field-related researchers and being able to attend and even present at more symposiums and conferences.
